Arboretum Photo Shoot

You definitely should. The shooting fee is 30.00 per session or 300.00 yearly fee. (Most applicable to professional photographers).

I take very informal walks here with my toddler and it provides him with a lot of stimulation and tactile experiences. When I shoot a lifestyle session, a University of Kentucky Arboretum Photo Shoot would be my go to. 

 

I am able to focus on my subject within the space of the environment. This is important because it allows the story to be unfold in just a couple of images. 

I love being able to capture child and their responses to nature. It really brings a magical feeling to the image.

I cherish these images from our informal Kentucky Arboretum Photo Shoot. There is 100 acres of land. It is perfect for everyone. I have always seen someone working out. Many people walk their dogs.

 

Before 1991, it was overrun with non-native invasive plants.  Thanks to the University and Arboretum staff and volunteers, they have made this place amazing.

 

 

Often times you will see employees on the ground beautifying the central locations. There are so many open spaces.
